Seehorse Creative Media Web Design
Different Sites for Different Types!
Seehorse can design and build a Website to virtually any budget! We call this the 'Seehorse Progressive Quote'. You pick out the type of site you need and the elements you want, and we price it accordingly. This way you only pay for what you want, and you can spread out the cost of building your site by starting with an 'essential' site, and add design elements and functions as required. We can build several different types of sites depending on your needs, including: Splash Pages, Static Sites, Wordpress CMS Sites, and 'Integrated' Sites. Each offers specific traits, and which one is right for you depends on what you need your website to do for you. A selection of Seehorse sites is provided below, along with the approximate cost for each. The wild-card, wow-factor, is in the design elements and features added to the site. Design is what makes your site stand out in a sea of websites, and design is what Seehorse specializes in. Wow-Factor!
Design elements and special features are what will set your site apart from the masses! You can build the site complete with many design and functionality features, or you can start simply and add features as you go to ease the intitial financial strain. Design elements are based on an hourly rate since they can vary drastically in complexity, but remember 'complex' is not always synonymous with 'effective'! Sometimes very simple, affordable design elements are the most effective. You can see some examples of web design elements in the Graphic Design Gallery
Anecdotal Evidence!
One day, a long, long time ago, when I was struggling to make an existence as an artist, I went to see a fortune teller. I don't have much faith in fortune tellers, but I was bored and looking for some good news. She told me that I was an artist. She could somehow tell this by looking at my multi-coloured, paint-splattered hands and clothes. I was suitably unimpressed. Then she told me that someday I would be a very successful artist, but in some new medium that hadn't been invented yet. I presumed she was talking about photography, which was something of a fledgling art form at the time, but she insisted it wasn't photography; she was emphatic that it was something that didn't yet exist. The memory has stayed with me... I have often wondered, 'what could she have been talking about?' Now I know now what she was talking about; the internet. I am almost obsessed with the idea that the internet is what I have been waiting for! I have learned to create solid, search engine optimized, static and CMS websites, insert blogs, 'Flash' effects, galleries, forms, and other assets. More significantly to me, I have learned to use Photoshop to handle, enhance, and manipulate photos, and to use Illustrator to create vector graphics. I have a vision of an internet full of much more attractive and entertaining websites. I would love to build one for you. You will get the absolute best of me!
