Seehorse Creative Media Writing

I have been writing consistently since I was in my early teens. I started keeping journals and then added long-winded letters to my repetoire during my world travels. Eventually I went to school and wrote a swack of A/A+ essays and short stories en route to a Diploma in Literature and philosophy, and a B.F.A. in Fine Art. I wrote for the school newspaper and several small scale poetry/pose publications, but nothing professional. Like everyone else, I also have a novel 'almost done'! I write blogs, magazine articles, scripts, and formal essays...and pretty much anything else I am inclined to write. I have posted two of my most recent endeavours here. A more extensive selection of my writing can be found in my Blog.

This is the first in a six part series of articles that I am writing for Yomo Art Gallery. I am enchanted by the idea of art and social media combining to make the world a better place. This series of articles is about the ever diminishing distinction between art and reality. If you hover over the middle of the page you can view the zine full screen.
This is a video I wrote and narrated based on my experiences on the downtown eastside of Vancouver. I had the fortunate pleasure of getting to know many of the beautiful souls who live there, and hearing their tragic stories of abuse and neglect. Two of the women I knew very well ended up being victims of the serial killer Willie Pickton, and this is the story of the night they encountered one of his 'Black Angels' and I was drawn into the drama. The video was made by my good friend Jesse Reardon of Neighbourhood101 productions.
